Skin Cancer and Skin Conditions

It is important you care for your skin. Exposure to the sun over the years, a family history of skin cancer and ageing are just some of the risk factors for developing skin cancer. Please enquire from reception to book in an appointment for a skin check.

If you have any suspicious skin lesions, you may require a skin biopsy or an excision to be performed. We have doctors with a special interest in this area. Ask our reception staff and they will be able to direct you.

It is important to acknowledge that skin concerns apart from skin cancer can be equally afflicting. Conditions such as eczema and acne are common in the population and your GP can help you manage these.
